AZYL

(2022)

Concept Development, Urban Design

The design investigates the relationship between seating, shelter and the supporting structure. Particular attention is given to human scale and the arrangement of functional elements, considering how the shelter can respond to the needs of passengers within a public setting.

AZYL approaches the shelter as an integral element of the urban environment rather than a standalone utility. Through its formal language and spatial organisation, the concept explores how everyday infrastructure can combine practical performance with a more considered contribution to the streetscape.
